Three Orphaned Lion Cubs Receive First Health Check at Toyohashi Zoo


 

On August 17th, a special event took place at Toyohashi Zoo in Japan—the birth of three lion cubs who were sadly orphaned shortly after birth. Despite the challenging start, the zoo's dedicated animal care team stepped in immediately to hand-raise the cubs, providing around-the-clock care to ensure their survival and healthy development.

Now, several weeks later, the zoo has shared heartwarming footage of the cubs receiving their very first health check.
