Stray Cat Mother Gives Away Baby, Gives Kitten A Home


 

Oddly, this exact thing happened to me. Exactly. There was a grey stray female that I would feed. She was completely feral, but over time she came to trust me a lot and would even sit on my lap and purr while I was sitting on my porch.

One day, I went out onto my porch and saw her trotting toward me across the street with something in her mouth. It was a tiny little black kitten about 6 weeks old. She dropped him on the porch right in front of my feet and immediately left. That kitten is now a cat and he's laying between my keyboard and monitor as I write this, and we've been together now for 15 years.
