Tiny lion cubs use moms as a playground


 

Six week old lion cubs are really cute and can be very playful. What better place to play with a stick than on the back of your mom and her sister.

Taken in Kenya’s Naboisho Conservancy in January 2026 while staying at Asilia’s Encounter Mara with guide Salaash Ol Morompi. Deliberately muted due to wind noise.

As the world prepared to welcome the new year, the white lions at Lory Park experienced a truly remarkable and heartwarming event— the birth of three pure white lion cubs. These cubs are incredibly rare, as white lions are a leucistic sub-species of the African lion, characterized by their stunning white coats and striking blue eyes.
